Purpose and vision
All warfare is a tragedy, and when telling the story of Maritime Warfare in the North Sea, nobody should be celebrated, but the story must be told and the victims honored and remembered!
The purpose and vision of the museum:
To study and convey the knowledge about Maritime Warfare in the North Sea during World War I, as well as preserving the objects that belong to history.
To register and document the shipwrecks and their degradation in the North Sea.
To operate a marine archaeological center in connection to the museum with a maritime museum magazine and a maritime research library that is available to both professionals and amateurs.
To be an independent and unrestricted international museum that tells the story correctly, neutrally and without prejudice to through all media to maximum number of guests from around the world.
